What should I do if my network access is disabled due to a computer virus ?
If your dormitory network account is suspended due to your computer launching external network attacks or being infected with a virus, please follow these steps:

Remove any unknown or suspicious programs from your computer.

Use antivirus software, ensure the virus definitions are up-to-date, and perform a full scan of your computer.

Enable the firewall function on your computer.

Fill out the Information Security Incident Report (click to download) and send it to dormnet@email.ncku.edu.tw. Your dormitory network access will be restored once it passes review by cybersecurity personnel.

After your internet access is restored, immediately run Windows Update and update your antivirus software. Keep these updates current to avoid being locked out again!
